About This Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients as directed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, surfaces, and utensils
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items
- Unload and organize deliveries and stock supplies
- Take out garbage and recycling as needed
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and team player attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler certification is an asset
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
